Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce to Star in Musical Queen of the Falls

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce are set to star together in Queen of the Falls, a musical centered on two lovers. Few plot details have been revealed so far. The film will be written and directed by Rania Attieh and Daniel Garcia, known for H.

The score will be composed by Grammy winner Marius de Vries, whose credits include La La Land and Moulin Rouge!. Choreography will be handled by Celia Rowlson-Hall, known for The Testament of Ann Lee and Aftersun.

Attieh and Garcia’s H screened at Venice, Sundance, and Berlin, winning at the Independent Spirit Awards. They also received the Nora Ephron Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival for Initials S.G.. Mollye Asher, Oscar-winning producer of Nomadland and The Rider, will produce the project.

Pearce was recently nominated for both an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist and previously won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in the 2011 miniseries Mildred Pierce. Known for L.A. Confidential and Memento, he has just wrapped production on the western Killing Faith, directed by Ned Crowley.

Anderson, who rose to fame with Baywatch, earned Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations last year for Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl. She also recently appeared in the theatrical release of the Naked Gun reboot starring Liam Neeson. In 2022, she performed in Chicago on Broadway.
